Sells ScentStraps that are proven to keep horses relaxed during stressful situations using lavender’s natural aroma.
The Goal
We have been working with HorseScents since its humble beginnings in 2018. With only a logo and a prototype, we set out to get HorseScents everything it needed to stand out and succeed in a niche industry.
Before it was a product, the ScentStrap was a concept created by HorseScent’s owner, Chrisie Van Cleef; she devised a way to deliver organic lavender aromatherapy to horses with an interchangeable strap that could be attached to halters and bridles. As part of the product creation process, Chrisie needed us to help turn her sketches into figures that could be used in her patent filing.
A Website Built for Growth
The first step to launching this new idea was to create a website where users could learn more about it, read customer testimonials, and purchase the product. Although the biggest focus of the site was to display the product and educate users, another goal was to encourage repeat sales. Using Subbly, our team created a subscription service for the refillable portion of the ScentStrap system so that users could automatically receive these refills on a monthly basis without having to repeat the ordering process.
Additionally, we connected the HorseScents eCommerce store to PirateShip, a low-cost shipping service, so that it would be easier for them to process shipments as they grew without breaking the bank. The site is also easily editable and expandable using Elementor’s page builder.
Marketing and Vendor Booth Materials
Since educating potential customers about ScentStraps was a major hurdle to making HorseScents a recognized brand, creating and distributing consistently branded marketing materials was a must.
Horse shows offer a huge sales and educational opportunity for HorseScents, so our team also helped create signage, videos, window clings, and large canvas prints for HorseScents’ vendor booth. Additionally, we helped the HorseScents team configure a mobile POS system using Square, a system that syncs to their eCommerce store so that prices and inventory are always consistent.
Video Creation
Over the years, HorseScents has needed a variety of videos created from customer testimonials and cute social media posts (some of which include custom lyrics to popular holiday songs) to vendor booth loops. To make every video more accessible to customers, we also added branded subtitles to each one.

Provides personalized and customized business solutions for all businesses’ recruiting and talent needs.
The Goal
Comrise’s old website did not match their current branding; the colors were different, the images were outdated, and the site was not responsive or search engine optimized. Our job was to not only bring the site up to date but also ensure that it loaded quickly for users globally and was able to be translated into Chinese.

Website Redesign
We redesigned Comrise’s website with their branding in mind; we incorporated two new colors to match their original teal and emphasized the use of icons, which they often use in their physical office space. Since their company is all about their recruiters and working as a team, we made sure to incorporate numerous photo banners so that they could showcase their hardworking staff. Additionally, we created an intro video for their homepage using footage provided by the Comrise team.
Translated and Optimized
After the initial English website build and launch, our team started creating the Chinese version of the Comrise site with the help of Comrise’s international staff. While most of the content remained the same, there were some areas that needed to be hidden on the Chinese version; our team used TranslatePress to accomplish this.
Additionally, we implemented CDN with their host, WPEngine, to ensure that the site would load quickly and efficiently for users across the globe.

A non-profit organization providing no cost professional healthcare, education, and support services to women, men, and their families in the areas of pregnancy, sexual health, and other related concerns.
The Goal
Options for Women of California was looking to rebrand itself into an organization that would appeal to both men and women. In addition to its rebrand, the newly named Options Health required a new website and updated marketing collateral to complete its transformation.

The Brand Transformation
While most medical logos are typically clinical and formal, due to the sensitive nature of the services they provide and the younger clientele they serve, the Options Health team wanted their new logo to be modern and welcoming.
In the final iteration of this new logo, we incorporated arrows around the “O” in their new name, which represents the numerous options their clients have when it comes to pregnancy and sexual health. We also used bright colors in order to appeal to a younger audience that may be hesitant to seek assistance when it comes to this sensitive issue.
Website Upgrade and Simplification
Options for Women of California used to be made up of two separate websites, one for clients and one for supporters/donations. In order to simplify, both sites were condensed into optionshealth.org. As part of this process, all of the old site links needed to be redirected to their new locations in order to maintain Options’ SEO integrity and prevent users from landing on broken pages.
Completing the Transformation
The final step of this project was to redesign the brochures, business cards, appointment cards, and other print collateral Options Health used in its day-to-day operations. It was vitally important to use cohesive branding across all mediums to not only get across the professionalism and legitimacy of Options but also to instill trust in clients who view and use these materials.
